For good reason, because it was the best tungsten putty on the market even then. The unbelievable ratio of weight to size made it possible from then on to fine-tune rigs and to balance pop-ups until they were floating. Up to now this had not been possible in this “form”. A clay revolution, if you will!
From now on, bulky kneading balls the size of a boilie no longer had to be used for balancing the hookbaits. For the first time there was a “lead-free” alternative that offered more options for rig presentation than any comparable product.
Unfortunately, the company that produced the Wunder-Putty was closed in 2006. With our backs to the wall, we decided on the only right solution: we would produce it ourselves! Followed by considerable investments in the factory and the machines as well as countless hours of experimentation, we got to work. And we are delighted to announce: we did it, Heavy Metal is back! And it’s better than ever.
We have optimized the original formula down to the finest detail to ensure better adhesion, better hold and easier formability without having to save weight. In short, for even more quality at the same price, the carp angler receives a weapon for his professional tuning arsenal!
