A lightweight graphite body and rotor help reduce overall weight and fatigue during longer sessions. The reel is fitted with a durable aluminium spool with line clip, an extra-strong aluminium bail wire and a sturdy metal alloy crank handle for reliable everyday use.

Internally, the MX-2 FS uses a zinc alloy pinion and drive gear set designed for durability and reliable power transmission. The parallel line lay oscillation system helps distribute line evenly across the spool, supporting effective line management and casting performance.
